I don’t think it would be difficult to come up with a critique of Valentine’s Day (and probably not a bad thing to do on occassion). How it is a “Hallmark Holiday” that has become completely commodified and celebrates “stuff” more than it does love (while villainizing those who don’t spend lots of money on “stuff”).
I’ll simply remind you that it should be more than what you spend, rather how and with whom you spend your day with…
And leave you with a few comical Valentine’s Day cards…
So however you end up spending your day (whether single or with that special someone), enjoy your day!

I think Vday is a waste of money. If I had money instead of more debt than crappy Mike blogs, I wouldn’t waste it even on occassion*. Herpes>Mike

Sounds like somebody is bitter about having to shell out for a gift. I got Andrea some cadbury eggs and she seemed perfectly satisfied.

Haha….not at all. We actually have a standing agreement for the most part that we don’t really get each other gifts for holidays (or if we do, usually small) and instead we usually do something fun – usually out to a nice place to eat or something like that.

I did buy a gift, but my main goal was to spice up Mike’s message board. Go Red Sox! jk
