1-8. Abs, abs, and more abs
Zak W. is chiseled. Instead of your standard 6-pack abs to make the ladies swoon, Zak W. delivers a couple of bonus abs with a full-blown 8-pack. Sure, we all thought he might be a d-bag when he entered shirtless and asked Des, “Will you accept these abs?” but he went on to show he was more than just the abs. But the abs matter. They will definitely be a draw for viewers and for the group of ladies trying to win his heart.
9. Amateur guitar playing and song writing
Zak showed us all time and time again that he was more than capable of some depth and was more than happy to bare his soul via song to prove it (he also turned out to be quite the poet). Yes, it’s cliche – a total dude soulfully plucking away and writing love songs, but it will sell. And the ladies will swoon. Trust me.
10. His grin
Zak’s grin gives us a snapshot of his entire personality. He has this extremely genuine and cheesy (in a good way) smile that lets you know he’s having fun. He really seems to love life and just generally be a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. And he’s not afraid to flash those pearly whites over and over for the cameras. What’s not love?
11. His age
At 31, Zak is ready for love. He told us in the “Men Tell All” episode that at his age, it’s getting tough to meet women, and that most of his friends and peers are settled down and beginning to have kids. What better way for us to help out such a good guy than to bring potential mates to him?! It seems that one of the new concerns about the show is authenticity – are the indviduals using it purely as a platform to get famous? My guess is that a slightly older guy who already has some life experience under his belt (remember his soul-searching trip to Europe when he thought he was going to be a priest?!) would be less likely to use this as a platform to become a celebrity or a means to party and date as many hot women as possible.
12. He was my favorite and he’d be good for the show
Yes, of course I have favorites. (I also had least favorites…lots of them this year, but maybe most of all who I termed the “Justice League”: Casey, Drew, and Michael….the guys who were really concerned about “justice” and who was there for the “right reasons”.) Maybe I did have a bit of a man crush on him (are he and Matthew McConaughey really that different…), but he also seemed like a good guy. Someone that I would probably enjoy hanging out with (after the initial wave of d-baggery passed from his introduction). He would probably have some fun date/activity input for the show, he would be fun to watch, the girls would sincerely want to be with him, and I do think he would be sincere and genuine on the show.
