Delicious

Hello dear readers,

I feel compelled to post this delicious marinade recipe for all to enjoy.  As many of you know, I don’t often follow recipes (I’m generally a fan of creating and “making up” stuff) but this one is worth it.  It’s a recipe that my mom has had forever from her mom, and I finally got around to getting from her.

This is really great for flank steak (or London broil cut of steak), but could also be used to marinate other cuts of steak as well.  It could probably also be good with other types of meat (i.e. chicken), though I’ve never tried it with anything other than beef.  Unfortunately, I have no pictures to vouch for the results, but trust me, it’s delicious!  Enjoy!

1 cup soy sauce
½ cup sugar
2 TBL salad oil (or olive/vegetable oil)
4 TBL wine vinegar
2 tsp ginger
2 cloves garlic (or garlic powder)
Put in container with tight fitting lid and shake well……marinade for the day or overnight….may be stored in airtight container in the refrigerator and reused.
